My name is Stephen Barling, a Charlottesville, Va.-based photographer and photo editor specializing in architectural photography for realtors in central Virginia.

By now, we have all seen the data showing the benefits of photography for selling real estate. (If not, please read THIS and THIS.) The jury is definitely in. In this internet age, photography helps. A lot. And high quality photography helps even more.

As a responsible agent, you may have already invested in a good-quality DSLR, wide-angle lens and off-camera flash. (Good thinking, by the way.) But do you have the time to set up a tripod, generate multiple exposures of the same scene and then process all those photos in various programs? That’s where I come in. Not only can I shoot your interior and exterior photos with an eye to artistic composition and dramatic lighting, but I can process them using the latest techniques, including exposure blending and HDR (high dynamic range).
